Garland County had one gas station selling premium gas at the lowest price of $2.97 per gallon during the week ending Jan. 3, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
The county registered an average of $3.28 per gallon for premium gas.
Among 61 gas stations in cities within Garland County, 20 offered premium gas.
Across Arkansas, the average reported price for a gallon of premium gas rose to $3.16, compared to the week before.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
