WASHINGTON –  Congressman Bruce Westerman cosponsored bipartisan legislation to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the establishment of the National Wild Turkey Federation. The legislation also recognizes the National Wild Turkey Federation’s significant contributions to scientific wildlife management, research, and habitat conservation, as well as promotes and protects the long-honored outdoor traditions of the United States.

“I grew up turkey hunting, and turkey season is one of my favorite times of year in the 4th District. Which is why I am proud to cosponsor bipartisan legislation to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the National Wild Turkey Federation. I appreciate NWTF’s efforts to promote the conservation of wild turkey habitats and hunting,” Congressman Bruce Westerman said.
