20 coaches at institutions in Garland County earned $27,015 on average in 2022

Garland County’s 20 coaches earned an average salary of $27,015 in 2022, according to the U.S. Department of Education.

This is the eighth lowest average salary per county earned by coaches at Arkansas post-secondary schools during 2022.

Garland County is home to two post-secondary schools that paid coaches during 2022. Among them, Champion Christian College stood out with the highest average coaching salary of $72,000.

Male coaches of men's teams received $37,824 on average in Garland County, while female coaches in charge of women's teams earned an average of $31,201.

Research from the Vanderbilt Owen Graduate School of Management found NCAA coaches are compensated like CEOs, with top coaches earning more than $1.5 million annually.
