The Board of Directors and staff of the Benton Area Chamber of Commerce are honored to welcome Travis Mills as the speaker at our banquet on Tuesday, March 14, 2023.

Tables for 10 can be purchased for $750 and individual tickets are $80. (Tables are placed in the order they are purchased.)

The banquet will begin at 6:00 pm.

Retired United States Army Staff Sergeant Travis Mills of the 82nd Airborne is a recalibrated warrior, motivational speaker, actor, author and an advocate for veterans and amputees. Despite losing portions of both arms and legs from an IED while on his third tour in Afghanistan, Travis continues to overcome life's challenges, breaking physical barriers and defying odds. He is one of only five quadruple amputees from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan to survive his injuries. Travis lives by his motto: "Never give up. Never quit."

Travis and his wife, Kelsey, founded the Travis Mills Foundation, a non-profit organization, formed to benefit and assist post 9/11 veterans who have been injured in active duty or as a result of their service to our nation. The veteran and their families receive an all-inclusive, all expenses paid, barrier-free vacation to Maine where they participate in adaptive activities, bond with other veteran families and enjoy much-needed rest and relaxation.

We look forward to Travis' dynamic and encouraging program focused on teaching and inspiring everyone to "Never give up. Never quit." no matter the obstacles or circumstances.

Sponsors of the 2023 banquet are Jones Heating and Air, First Security Bank, Everett Buick GMC, Ashley HomeStore, Baxley-Penfield-Moudy Realtors, CDI Contractors, LLC, McCauley Services, P. Clark & Associates, LLC, and Smith Benton Family Funeral Home.
