HOT SPRINGS WORLD CLASS HIGH SCHOOL: Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy

Award

Hot Springs World Class High School issued the following announcement on May 5.

Congrats to our 17 students for earning an Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy, which means that they can use this official recognition to show future employers and/or admissions offices that they are proficient in two or more languages!

>Our Trojans are among 780 Arkansas students to earn a Seal of Biliteracy, which is the most applications submitted in one season (in Arkansas) to date.

>The Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy is recognition given to Arkansas high school students who have attained proficiency in English and one or more other languages.

>The Arkansas Seal of Biliteracy is awarded each spring and fall to students in grades 9 through 12 and is sponsored by the Arkansas Foreign Language Teachers Association (AFLTA) and the Arkansas Teachers of English to Speakers of Other Languages (ARKTESOL). The Arkansas Department of Education officially endorsed the Seal in June of 2018.
