Hot Springs World Class High School issued the following announcement on April 30.
Last Friday on Earth Day, Spanish Classes and Mrs. Hughley hosted a First Annual HSWCHS Trashion Fashion Show!
>Trojan students in Spanish Classes have been studying Spanish fashion designers, and their class project was to become designers and models, and to showcase their fashion designs on the runway - in our case the "greenway," as we combined this project with a study of Earth Day.
>They have been learning about the importance of the "3 R’S" (Reuse, Reduce, Recycle), and used those ideas in the show. They created clothing out of trash bags, newspapers and other repurposed/recycled items.
>The winning designer - Jonathan Rodriguez - received a pizza party for his class, generously donated by Mrs. Kimberly Anderson (Mrs. Garland County America).
>Thank you to our Judges and all student/staff support!
