Champion Christian College issued the following announcement on Jan. 29.
With a heart for students and a passion for Christ, Dr. Eric Capaci has been the president of Champion Christian College since 2013. He brings an extensive educational background to this position, including a master’s degree in pastoral counseling (Liberty University, 2014) and an honorary doctor of divinity degree (Hyles-Anderson College & Oklahoma Baptist College, 1999). In addition, Dr. Capaci has extensive practical experience: he has been in pastoral ministry for over three decades and is a well-known speaker and author of eight books.
However, far more impressive than his education or accomplishments is Dr. Capaci’s heart for family and for ministry. He has been married for thirty-three years to his wife, Carolann, whom he met in seminary. They are blessed with five children and six grandchildren. Dr. Capaci also considers the students, staff, and faculty at Champion Christian College to be his family and finds great joy in building relationships and forging lasting connections.
President Capaci's vision for Champion is simple but profound: “that every student who attends Champion Christian College would come to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior and that they would grow in their faith.” Dr. Capaci is humbled and grateful to serve the Kingdom of God in this way and looks forward to the continued growth of Champion Christian College in the years to come.
