Church of St. John the Baptist - Hot Springs issued the following announcement on Aug. 16.
Love Thy Neighbor is an interfaith and intergenerational celebration of peace for people of all faiths to come together through music, prayer, and wisdom.
The theme for this year's service is “Love Thy Neighbor: Pathways to The Practice.” Special guests from Jewish, Christian, Muslim, Hindu, and other faith traditions will teach about spiritual practices that help strengthen our capacity to love ALL our neighbors. The program will also include sacred sounds, interfaith prayers, and healing music.
The prayer service will be live-streamed at 6 pm on Thursday, September 2, 2021, from The Interfaith Center’s YouTube Channel at https://www.youtube.com/user/theinterfaithcenter
We hope you will join us and learn how the scriptures and traditions from world religions emphasize on spiritual practices that help us deepen our love for all God’s creation.
