Coranovirus11

Oaklawn United Methodist Church issued the following announcement on Aug. 5.

Worship services and other activities will resume immediately with the following guidance in place:

Covid-19 Guidance (effective August 3, 2021)

• Everyone over the age of 2 must wear masks while in the building, regardless of vaccination status.

• Registration will be required at every worship service and other events due to the need for contact tracing. There will be a sign-in sheet in the entryway and in Sunday school classes.

• Temperatures of all participants will be taken and recorded on the sign-in sheet as well.

• Physical distancing should be observed at all times, following the directions of the ushers or signage in the seating area. It is highly recommended that only family members sit together and maintain at least 6 feet of distance between other groups. Please do not sit with persons who are not a part of your household without an agreement by all individuals in the group.

• Sunday school classes for children and adults may continue to meet, provided physical distancing is observed. If room size prohibits safe distancing, staff can help find a location or alternate time for the class to meet.

• Hand washing and use of hand sanitizing stations is highly encouraged.

• If you feel ill at all, we recommend that you stay home.

• If you test positive for Covid, please contact Pastor Gail at 479-223-0242. Your identity will be kept confidential.

• No food or drinks will be served indoors at this time.
