CITY OF HOT SPRINGS: Record Case numbers force hospitals to expand ICU capacity

City of Hot Springs issued the following announcement on Aug. 10.

Garland County’s active COVID-19 case count has reached record levels and area hospitals have had to expand their intensive care units. With schools starting next week, the Hot Springs/Garland County COVID-19 Task Force is urging everyone who has not yet been vaccinated to strongly consider doing so as soon as possible, and for face masks to be worn when social distancing is not an option.
