St. Mary of the Springs Church – Hot Springs issued the following announcement on May 14.

The diaconate ordination Mass for John Paul Hartnedy will be celebrated at 6 p.m. Thursday, May 19 at St. Edward Church in Little Rock.

The diaconate ordination Mass for Nathan Ashburn will be celebrated at 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 25 at the Cathedral of St. Andrew in Little Rock.

Through this process they will become transitional deacons, which is a major step toward priestly ordination in 2023. All are invited to attend these celebrations.
