St. Mary of the Springs Church – Hot Springs issued the following announcement on April 15.

Jesus, I’m heartsick as I watch this happen to you. I’m pained as I realize I help cause it. I’m overwhelmed as I realize that you would do it even if I were the only one. Your love is awesome! Your love is sacrifice! Your love is endless! Thank you for embracing my humanity. Thank you for bearing our infirmities and sins. I weep as I watch you nailed, stretched out in painful death. I’m humbled as I watch you drink the cup of surrender and pass over to God. God broken! Love eternal! There is a numb darkness inside me. Thank you for loving me from the very depths of who you are! Jesus, remember me when you come into your kingdom!
