Saline County had two gas stations selling midgrade gas at the lowest price of $2.49 per gallon during the week ending Jan. 3, according to customer reports submitted to GasBuddy.
Countywide, midgrade gas averaged $2.91 per gallon.
Among 63 gas stations in cities within Saline County, 20 offered midgrade gas.
The average reported price for a gallon of midgrade gas in Arkansas was $2.83, up from the previous week.
U.S. gas prices continue to decline after reaching their lowest level since 2021, according to GasBuddy. The group projects the national average could dip below $2.80 per gallon during the holiday period, driven by increased oil production and lower seasonal demand.
