OUR LADY OF FATIMA CHURCH – BENTON: Our Lady of Fatima Students Win Drug Awareness Poster Contest

Every year students attending Our Lady of Fatima (OLF) School draw posters for Drug Awareness Week. The Knights of Columbus then judge the posters based on originality and quality. The posters are judged in three groups based on the student population in the grade levels. This year the division was in: Kindergarten through grade 1, grades 2 through 4, and grades 5 through 8. The poster winners for grades Kindergarten through first grade were: 1st Place – Mateo Rodriguez (1st Grade), 2nd Place – Charlotte Minick (Kindergarten), and 3rd Place – Santiago Brown-Garcia (Kindergarten). Poster winners for grades two through four were: 1st Place – Evie Xin-Smith (3rd Grade), 2nd Place – Hector Becerril (2nd Grade) and 3rd Place – Trey Little (3rd Grade) Poster winners for grades five through eight were: 1st Place – Lillian Lawrence (5th Grade), 2nd Place – Olivia Mazurek (6th Grade), and 3rd Place – Natalie Sansoulet (6th Grade). The Knights of Columbus, Council 9396, congratulates these and all the OLF students for their participation and effort during Drug Awareness Week.
