Miner Academy issued the following announcement on April 21.

Mr Shepherd’s AP US Government and Politics class attended oral arguments at the Arkansas Court of Appeals and after the case concluded they were able to speak with the judges about appellate jurisdiction and the judicial process.

After the trial, they met with election officials at the Arkansas Secretary of State office who explained how state and federal elections are conducted in Arkansas. Their day concluded with a tour of the State Capitol.
