Little Rock women’s golf prepares for final round at Advance Golf Partners Collegiate

The Little Rock women’s golf team is positioned 12th after the second round of the Advance Golf Partners Collegiate, held at Hammock Creek Golf Club in Palm City, Florida. The Trojans are currently at 45-over par, trailing Jacksonville State and Daytona State by just one stroke for a share of eighth place.

Virginia Tech leads the tournament with a score of 10-over par, maintaining a 17-shot advantage over Appalachian State, which is in second place.

Little Rock’s Eleonore Aernouts made significant progress during Monday’s round, moving up 24 spots to tie for 10th after shooting an even-par 72. She stands at five-over for the tournament. Lara Martin follows two shots behind and is tied for 21st after recording a three-over-par round of 75.

Other contributors include Elvia Flodstrom, who finished at five-over par and is tied for 63rd, and Nina Pitsch, who posted a seven-over round to tie for 58th.

The final round will begin Tuesday at 8 a.m., where Little Rock aims to improve its standing in the event.
