HOT SPRINGS WORLD CLASS HIGH SCHOOL: The Hot Springs Dance Troupe has returned from their international performance tour with the Stars of Tomorrow

Our eight dancers (including Trojan graduates and current students) performed in seven shows throughout Austria in Vienna, Innsbruck, and St. Johann for almost 10,000 people in prestigious theatres including the Schönbrunn Palace and Landes Theatre.

>During the journey, dancers also took master classes in ballet and modern dance, alongside two other American student companies including a workshop with Ich Ban Ok, a company for dancers of all abilities, and learned and performed a flashmob with Austrian students from Innsbruck.

>The Hot Springs Dance Troupe and attending teachers and chaperones toured Vienna, Salzburg, Sankt Johann, Venice, and Innsbruck, with stops in Munich and Bavaria, Germany, to tour the Neuschwanstein Castle and the Linderhoff Palace.

>The HSDT performed five original works choreographed by our Mrs. Amy Bramlett Turner and received glowing feedback of the performance quality, professionalism, and powerful messages of each of the dances and dancers!

>The HSDT is only the third school program in the tour’s history to be invited to perform on this international tour and is proud to have this second group of #HSSD students attend.

>In addition to dancers and staff chaperones, HSDT Manager Rotora Plummer acted as assistant stage manager throughout the tour, where she worked backstage to support all company dancers.

>Our friend and local outstanding professional photographer Aaron Brewer was also kind enough to be part of the journey, and captured hundreds of sensational photos of our talented dancers in action.

From all attendees – “Thank you for all of the support from our school, community and Trojan family for helping to make this once in a lifetime opportunity a reality!”
