Hot Springs World Class High School issued the following announcement on Jan. 3.

Trojan Families, please be advised: Masks are required of all #HSSD students and staff during the weeks of January 4-7 & January 10-14 for HSSD students and staff.

>As a reminder, the safety of all students and staff is our top priority. HSSD uses data from the Arkansas Center for Health Improvement (ACHI) AND data (about Covid-positive cases of Trojan staff and students) reported to the HSSD to make decisions about mask-wearing guidance. Due to a large number of reported

Covid-19 cases and quarantines among Trojan students and staff members, HSSD is requiring the wearing of face masks by all students (grades Pre-K-12) and staff for the first two weeks following Christmas Break (January 4-14, 2022).

>Current Total of Covid-Positive Staff Cases at HSSD: 12
