Hot Springs World Class High School issued the following announcement on June 1.

Let’s Eat and Read all summer long! Find details below for FREE meals (for students 0-18) and books via the #TrojanEats Food Truck and the #TrojansRead Book Bus. Summer routes begin next week!

>The #HSSD and district food service provider Chartwells K12 will again offer FREE, fresh, and tasty grab-and-go lunch meals throughout the summer on Mondays – Fridays, June 6 – July 22 at the locations/times listed below. All summer grab-and-go meals are FREE to children ages 18 and under. Adults must have children with them at the #TrojanEats Food Truck in order to receive meals for each child. Adults may also purchase meals at a low cost of $4.00 per lunch.

>Mondays – Fridays: June 6 – July 22, 2022:

>Food Truck Stop: 11:00 – 11:30 at Kroger (3341 Central Avenue)

>Food Truck Stop: 11:00 – 11:30 at Family Dollar (899 Park Avenue)

>Food Truck Stop: 11:45 – 12:20 at Kroger (215 Airport Road)

>Food Truck Stop: 11:45 – 12:20 at Wal Mart Neighborhood Market (1544 Malvern Avenue)

>#HSSD Media Specialists and staff are teaming up again to deliver free books across Hot Springs! During all #TrojansRead Book Bus stops, free books are available to individuals of all ages, and from any school or program. During most Thursday routes, we will also be accompanied by friends at Mid-America Science Museum! Mid America teams will bring science-based projects and resources to also share. Also, be sure to notice – families can access the #TrojanEats Food Truck AND the #TrojansRead Book Bus at the same time on the two final stops of the route, below.

>Thursdays: June 9 – July 21, 2022 (*June 9, June 16, June 23, June 30, July 7, July 14, July 21):

>8:30 – Park Magnet, an IB World School

>9:00 – Main Street Visual & Performing Arts Magnet School

>9:30 – Hot Springs Junior Academy/Hot Springs World Class High School

>10:00 – Oaklawn STEM Magnet School

>10:30 – Langston Elementary Leadership Academy

>11:00 – Family Dollar, 899 Park Avenue w/#TrojanEats Food Truck

>11:45 – Kroger, 3341 Central Avenue w/#TrojanEats Food Truck
