Hot Springs World Class High School issued the following announcement on Mar. 8.

This Friday, March 11, the #HSSD is again partnering with healthcare professionals at CHI St. Vincent-Hot Springs to host a voluntary Covid-19 Vaccination Clinic. This Clinic will include the offering of Covid-19 Vaccination Shots and Boosters (Pfizer) at all campuses (for those who pre-register) and at the HSSD Welcome Center from 2:00 – 4:30 (for walk-ins).

Parents should please complete and send by Wednesday, March 9, for students to receive shots at schools on Friday, March 11.

>Parents/families who want to bring their students and be with them as they receive the shot should come to the HSSD Welcome Center (702 Main Street) from 2:00 – 4:30. All community members and walk-ins are also welcome to get a shot at this time.

>Who qualifies to receive Covid-19 Vaccination and Booster Shots?

Please contact your doctor or healthcare provider or the Arkansas Department of Health to find out who qualifies to receive the Covid-19 Vaccination and Booster Shots.

>Who can attend? Only HSSD students and staff members can receive shots at schools. Anyone who qualifies to receive a vaccination or booster shot is welcome at the HSSD Welcome Center (702 Main Street) from 2:00 – 4:30.

>Can HSSD students still receive the Student Vaccination Incentive?

Yes, all HSSD students (ages 5+), can receive the Student Vaccination Incentive after showing proof of full vaccination. The Incentive is a $100 Amazon Gift Card. Send a photo of Vaccination Cards to your School Nurse or to barnesa@hssd.net. *The incentive does not apply to booster shots.
