The Hot Springs Board of Directors will hear the recommendations for an integrated parking system from Walker Consultants during a work session at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 7, in the City Hall Board Chambers, 133 Convention Boulevard.The work session will precede the regularly-scheduled 6 p.m. bi-weekly meeting of the board.Walker Consultants representatives will present their findings from the public input meetings, survey responses and site observations before offering their recommendations.A total of 940 patrons, employees and downtown Hot Springs community members provided input relating to parking through a collaborative survey in January 2023 from the City of Hot Springs and Walker Consultants. The survey results will be added to the input gathered at two public meetings held on Dec. 1, 2022, regarding the implementation of a paid parking management system.
