City of Hot Springs issued the following announcement on Nov.24.

The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing at 6pm on Thursday, Dec. 9, in the Board Chambers at City Hall, 133 Convention Boulevard, to consider the following:

• 101 Shawnee St – Zoning change request from Suburban Residential District (R-2) to Commercial Transitional District (C-TR) for Block 1: Lots 1 and 2 of Indiandale Subdivision.
• 101 Shawnee St – Conditional use application for the construction and operation of a two-story medical office building located on Block 1: Lots 1 and 2 of Indiandale Subdivision.
• 104 Gossett Pl – Zoning change request from Medium/High Density Residential District (R-4) to Office/Neighborhood Commercial District (C-3) for Block 2: Lots 1-5 in J.P. Mellards Addition Subdivision.
• Approximately 750 Millcreek Rd – Zoning change request from Suburban Residential District (R-2) to Regional Commercial/Open Display District (C-4) for approximately .75 acres of vacant land.
• 5200 Central Ave – Belle of Hot Springs – Site plan review for proposed renovations and expansion to the existing Belle of Hot Springs site.
• 5379 Central Ave – Central Avenue Villa – Site plan review for proposed 32-unit apartment complex consisting of four buildings located on 4.12 acres of land.
• 600 Lakeshore Dr – The Cabins at Rocky Ridge – Site plan review for proposed 30-cabin residential rental development located on approximately 15.5 acres of land.

The lobby of City Hall will be used as overflow, as needed. All non-essential guests are asked to watch the proceedings via the livestream at the City’s YouTube channel (www.youtube.com/cityofhotsprings) or on City12 Resort TV, which will also air live at 6pm

The foregoing does not prohibit actual attendance or comments at the meeting in accordance with the rules and procedures for the Planning Commission’s meetings.
