City of Hot Springs issued the following announcement on Dec. 22.

All city offices, except public safety and the airport, will be closed for the Christmas holiday on Friday, Dec. 24, and Monday, Dec. 27, and for the New Year’s holiday on Friday, Dec. 31.

Solid Waste residential and commercial collection services will operate throughout the holidays as normally scheduled.

The Transportation Depot will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24, and Friday, Dec. 31. For the Christmas holiday, the Hot Springs Intracity Transit bus and paratransit services will stop at 4 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 24, and there will be no service on Saturday, Dec. 25. Operations will resume at 6 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 27. For the New Year’s holiday, the Intracity Transit bus and paratransit services will stop at 6 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 31, and there will be no service on Saturday, Jan. 1. Operations will resume at 6 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 3.

The Compost Facility will be closed on Friday, Dec. 24, and Friday, Dec. 31, as normally scheduled. It will be closed for the holidays on Saturday, Dec. 25, Monday, Dec. 27, and Saturday, Jan. 1.
