CITY OF HOT SPRINGS: Community Development Advisory Committee Meeting to be held July 7

City of Hot Springs issued the following announcement on July 5.

The City of Hot Springs Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) will hold its monthly meeting at 1 p.m. on Thursday, July 7, in the Board Chambers at City Hall, 133 Convention Boulevard.

The main agenda item will be approval consideration for the proposed 2022 Substantial Amendment, which is a required planning document for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to repurpose past-year project funds towards new projects.

During the meeting, the public will have an opportunity to comment on the 2022 Substantial Amendment. There will be a second in-person opportunity for public comment when it goes before the Board of Directors at the Board’s regularly-scheduled meeting on Aug. 9, starting at 6 p.m., at the City Hall Board Chambers.

The 2022 Substantial Amendment will be available online at https://www.cityhs.net/Community-Development, and paper copies will be available at the Planning and Development Department, 133 Convention Boulevard, weekdays from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. The public is invited to review and submit written comments on the proposed 2022 Substantial Amendment from July 5 – August 4.
