City of Hot Springs issued the following announcement on Jan 11.

The Board of Directors will hold a special called meeting at 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, to consider an ordinance amending Ordinance No. 6391 regarding attendance of board members by electronic means.

Immediately following the special called meeting, the Board will hold their regularly scheduled Agenda Meeting to consider the agenda for the next Board Meeting at 6 p.m. on Jan. 18, 2022.

Upon completion of the Agenda Meeting, the Board will hold a work session on the potential sustainable wild harvesting of yaupon in Hot Springs.

All non-essential guests are asked to watch the proceedings on City12 Resort TV, which will air at 7 p.m. and will re-run at 11 a.m., 3 p.m., and 7 p.m. on Wednesday and Thursday.

The foregoing does not prohibit actual attendance at the meeting in accordance with the rules and procedures for the Board’s meetings.

Masks are required within all City buildings when a social distancing of 6 feet cannot be maintained, effective Dec. 28, 2021.
