Champion Christian College issued the following announcement on Nov.15.

The Champion Tigers are riding in style! Champion is proud to unveil our new sports transport vehicle: a state-of-the-art 2019 Freightliner, specially decorated with the Champion name and logo! With a seating capacity of 39, this bus is shared among all the sports programs and is used to transport our athletes and coaches to both in-state and out-of-state games.

The Champion bus offers accommodations like no other for our Tigers. It features a built-in bathroom, LED interior lighting, fold-down table trays, and wood floors as well as higher-tech perks like USB ports for every seat and television sets throughout. In addition, its low mileage and top-of-the-line construction ensures that it is an excellent college investment that will be available to our sports programs for years to come.

And according to Coach Mo Capaci, head men’s basketball coach, this bus is a great recruiting tool as well. Among comparable institutions, only Champion has a transport vehicle of this quality. Coach Mo sees this as a natural outflowing of Champion’s commitment to excellence. “It’s going to be a great representation of what Champion is going to do throughout its entirety,” he says. “We want to be first class and do everything the best that we can!”

We’re so excited about this bus–not only a great benefit to our athletes but also a symbol of our dedication to maintaining the highest caliber. Interested in playing for Champion’s athletic programs? Click here to schedule a campus visit, including a tour of the new bus!
