Arkansas Department of Corrections issued the following announcement on Dec. 23.

Here are the latest COVID numbers for the Department of Corrections. Numbers are current as of 12/22/21. All positive inmates (testing positive/not recovered) are at East Arkansas Regional Unit, McPherson Unit, and Mississippi County Work Release. Staff information represents employees from multiple locations within the Department.
